The danger with the John Lennon vision of one world, one people, one government, is that the seat of power becomes the target for every criminal, meglamanic, self interested group, that ends up uncontrollable. Look at America now. She is uncontrollable. At least with a smaller power, like Gaddafi, [I make no comment on the validity of the action] it is possible to oust him from power. One World Government could lead to a global dictatorship? Which would require civil war on a global scale to tame. Man holds many different opinions. That should be respected. Different opinions require different governance. When one government believes it has the monopoly on truth, we are into dictatorship.

The problem with society is that to be apart of it, is to hold office within it. This insists that you represent a position, which has an agenda. The only way to be truly free to judge, comment or direct society is first, to be out of it. The genuine Artist seldom holds office, or has titles, and should certainly have no commercial interest. Only then can they see beyond the message. A true Artist, with the right heart, can see life as it is, not through the fog of what we purport it to be. The journey ahead is long and testing. We might start by liberating social media, such as Linkedin - which insists on categorizing people, under titles and banners. I wanted to be titled a free-thinker. But the categories, didn't allow it. Therein lies a microcosm of the inflexibilty this world has constructed.
